Family Drop In: Literacy Circle

Tonight is the end of Ramadan for our Muslim friends. Happy Eid al-Fitr!

9:30-10:25: Cardboard-box Mosque Creations. Let’s create our very own mosque for Eid! You will need:

• variety of boxes, paper bags, tubes…
• construction paper
• scissors
• white glue

Remember to cover your work surface with newsprint and have a rag ready to clean up messes.

10:30 – 11:00 Literacy Circle with focus on Spring Plants and Flowers

 11:00-12:30: Active Kids: We can use crumpled up paper, tissue, pompoms or balled up socks to play this activity. Use a box, basket, or a big bowl to catch the moon-balls!
