Family Drop In

Shavout is a Jewish holiday which ends the Festival of Weeks that started with Passover. This holiday is observed in Israel as a Grain Harvest Festival.

9:30-10:25: Shavuot Decorative Baskets. You will need:

• a green plastic berry basket or any container with holes punched all around
• pipe cleaners, feathers, yarn, ribbon or any materials to “weave” through the basket.

We can use our baskets for tomorrow’s Finding Flowers in Nature activity! Don’t forget to register for an April Activity kit to get the materials you’ll need to complete this activity!

10:30 – 11:00 Circle Time

11:00-12:30: Active Kids: Let’s dance together and have a look at how people from Israel dance to music that would be played during Shavuot.
