Family Drop-in – Family Literacy Circle
Wednesday’s are Literacy Circles. This week we’ll focus on Spring!
Today is Ram Navami, the Hindu Spring Celebration of Lord Rama’s Birth
9:45-10:25: Flower Chains for Ram Navami! – Let’s make flower chains to decorate our homes for this Hindu Spring Festival! You will need: construction paper, scissors, glue stick, and pipe-cleaners. How many flowers did you make?

10:30 – 11: Circle Time – :Join us with your children (newborn-6 yrs.) and take pleasure in songs, rhymes and stories. Join from the comfort of your home.
11:00-12:15: Flower Grow and Dance – We can practice our dancing, twirling, and growing movements as we move to the rhythms of traditional Indian music!
For families with children aged newborn to 6 yrs. Join in the family fun with circle time, interactive children’s activities, and opportunities to meet staff and other families and access resources & referrals.
